Prophetic Word given through David Noakes 

We publish the following prophecy, given at an Issachar Trustees meeting held in Clanfield, Oxfordshire on 5^th August 2026. The word very much corresponds with previous prophecies published in Prophecy Today. It also corresponds to teaching given by Stephen Briggs delivered at one of our recent Sunday gatherings, God and the Nations, session 4 (available to anyone who subscribes to the Issachar website and to Sunday Gatherings).

All prophecies should, of course, be carefully tested and weighed (e.g., in accordance with 1 Corinthians 14:29), and we invite readers to consider this word prayerfully. The Issachar team has already spent time prayerfully weighing it, having come to the conclusion that it is indeed a word from the Lord.

Prophetic word

"Beloved, I love you, My people;  and I have loved this nation of Britain with a deep love for many hundreds of years. I have protected you and your land against the schemes of the Adversary for more than 1,000 years. I have protected you many times from destruction by invasion and by revolution.

In recent times, I have protected you in miraculous ways through two World Wars in answer to the prayers of the nation; yet even after those deliverances, you rewarded My love by dividing up My land and by causing witchcraft to be made lawful. 

Yet even so,  I have not given up on you. I appointed for you a period of 70 years to repent and I gave you a godly ruler whose counsel was wise, even though not made public. I raised up voices to speak for Me in your parliament. I raised up voices to speak for Me in in your churches.  I raised up voices to speak for Me in the General Synod. I raised up voices within Lambeth Palace. I raised up voices to speak to the whole Lambeth Conference in 1998, and I listened attentively for the answer, for I was calling for repentance; yet among your Bishops I found none.

I have protected you many times from destruction by invasion and by revolution.

Therefore, now I will act in different ways. Beloved, why should I not give up on your nation, much as I have loved you; yet even now I will not give up, but I must act differently. I must act in judgement and life will become hard. It will become harder and harder until many will cry out in perplexity to know what is going on.  They will blame the government. They will even blame Me.  But My response will be “you have brought this upon yourselves, and you are reaping what you have sown”.

But as for you, beloved, be prepared for the days ahead. For I have never left myself without a witness.  I have never left myself without a remnant and I say to you, do not despair. Even though life will be hard, even though the message will be difficult, yet do not despair, for there is a remnant whose hearts will turn to me. And as you speak truth in places where I give you opportunity, there will be fruit from your labours.  You will see the reward of many repenting; of many whose eyes are being opened, accepting the truth and understanding, when I cause the scales to fall from their eyes. 

I will have a remnant, and I will once again be exalted in this land even though the rulers of this nation remain hard against me.  They will fight against you, but they will not prevail.  They will not overcome you, for I am with you.  Surely, I am with you. I will be the words in your mouth. I will be the motivation in your heart. I will be your protector and shield, and I will be your encourager. For beloved, you will need courage and I am the source of your courage, and I will not fail you. 

Be ready, therefore, for the days are not far off when there will be such a turning against God – such an open turning against Him in this land- that you will even wish you had not lived to see it. But that will be the time for which I am preparing you. And the message I will give you will be that My love is unchanged and My heart remains open to all who will hear the truth and turn to Me in repentance. It will bring life to those who receive it.

My word to you is that you should not give up, for I am with you.

Beloved, I am weeping over your nation, but I have not given up; therefore, My word to you is that you should not give up, for I am with you. I will fulfil my purposes and there will again be rejoicing, and many shall be gathered into the Kingdom.  I will not return before these things have happened.

Beloved, though the days ahead will be hard, yet I assure you that the best is yet to be, and you will see my glory and you will rejoice. And in that day, you will know that it has all been worthwhile and that I, the Lord, have done what I purposed and accomplished that for which I called you.  Stand fast, therefore. Stand fast and walk closely with Me, for I am with you and I will see you through."
